Kotra Haveli A Boutique Hotel by Lake Pichola

Great location in heart of old city, but tucked away, so it's a little quieter. Room was very spacious and clean.The hotel has a type of internal courtyard, all white marble floors and walls (very clean) and spacious, with lots of mature pot plants. It was a lovely setting to open my room door to. Great views of the city and city palace from the rooftop restaurant. I didn't eat there, but the staff were super friendly and eager to help, eg frequently filling up my water bottle with filetered water. I'd definitely recommend Kota to friends/family!

Nice hotel with restaurant included for breakfast or dinner. Room service is also included. Room itself was quite spacious and basic amenities such as water bottles, tea and bathroom supplies were provided. Also close to City Palace.

Beautiful hotel, all the leftover marble from building the Taj Mahal apparently went here. :-) Good size rooms, no issues with hot water. There's a rooftop area with stunning views of the City Palace and over the main city. Those marketing photos are real. There's an on-site restaurant and an available breakfast buffet. Room service is available and I'll recommend the Thali which was one of the more impressive ones I've seen. You can get beer, although you're limited to Kingfisher. Location is good -- you're not on the lake but farther back. But it's only a 5-10m walk and pretty much in a straight line. Still close to everything, we had no issues. A special callout to Vijay, Yogendra and Rahul of the restaurant staff for exceptional graciousness and help when both I and my wife were under the weather.

A very aesthetically pleasing and convenient property in the heart of old/touristy Udaipur. The location is 5 mins walk from Jagdish temple and 10min walk from Gangaur Ghat, lake pichola. Market, eateries, most of the tourist spots are very close and walkable. The rooms are spacious, clean with beautiful aesthetics, a total value for money. There's a rooftop restaurant which I never used. My stay in Udaipur was extended and I tried finding another hotel but liked nothing after staying at Kotra Haveli. The staff is courteous, especially the ppl at reception who are friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very beautifully decorated in traditional Rajasthani style & the white marble gives a calm vibe. If I ever come back I'll stay at Kotra Haveli and would 10/10 recommended others. Extra points for cleanliness, it's a steal deal at this price.

It was fantastic experience staying in this beautiful heritage property. Its in city which is prime location but you cant take care inside but that can be manageable seeing the staff services and politeness. Rooms and Property : its so beautiful, marble finishing floor, old designs and paintings gives you the feeling of staying in a heritage property. From Terresa you get a night lighting view of the Beautiful Udaipur city and its legit property known as City Palace. Community : Being it in the City area, Though you cant take your care inside city area but yeah you can rent a bike which is just at 5 min walking distance from the property. All tourist place are hardly 10-20 min distance from this property including CITY Palace which is 10 min walking distance from the property and during evening and night you get a view of the same palace which just blows your mind. Food and Staff : Food quality is beyond insane, the kitchen manager Mr. Sanket Vaishnav knows just what you are looking forward for lunch and dinner, if you dont know what to eat feel free to go ahead with any dish suggested by him. the reception and other staff were very helpful in taking care of our basic needs and guiding us during our trip. I would recommend you to must visit this property and enjoy the feeling of staying in heritage haveli. Good Things : - Prime location - Most of the points are at walking distance Cons : - As its inside the City area hence you can not take your own care inside the city area as the roads are very short.
